This workshop bought Political Scientists from all over the world to discuss the Schoolpol Project, examining the changing politics of educational reform, from the 19th century to present. Across two days, the historical origins of educational expansion and the post-war expansion of education and its shifting politics were investigated. The workshop concluded with a synthetic discussion of issues around the study of education politics, and its application to social mobility and political outcomes
